And yet, the Marian pilgrimage site of Altötting and the Passion Play village of Oberammergau are known around the world as Bavaria’s foremost spiritual centres; each attracting an ever increasing number of pilgrims and visitors.
In order to bring this connection to the fore, a joint brochure entitled “Bavaria’s Relgious Centres: Altötting and Oberammergau” was published. It provides extensive information on both centres, as well as special offers for the 2010 Passion Play and the Altötting Pilgrimage Weekend.
