Welcome to Marktoberdorf

Marktoberdorf lies in the middle of the beautiful countryside of the Alpine foothills. One of its many signposted walks leads past the rococo church of St. Martin. The castle hill and the town\'s museums provide a great attraction for visitors.

Location / Getting there: The Allgäu region is famous for its mountains, its rolling countryside and its many interesting sights. In the middle of this idyllic landscape lies the town of Marktoberdorf. You can get to us via the A7 or the A96 and then with the B12.

Local Events and cultural highlights: Our local concert and event centre, the MODEON, offers throughout the year a large variety of different attractions of the highest possible cultural level.
